I never see it any more, but there is a different ending to Angel on My Shoulder where he gets to go to Heaven because of his selfless deed. He is about to be taken back to Hell when a staircase appears and he is climbing up that staircase while the devil protests. He salutes the devil good-bye and continues up the staircase. It was the same movie, same players, the only difference being the alternate ending. I would love to have the movie with that ending but apparently it is not well known.
